Casino revenues statewide totaled $235.4 million for the month compared to $228.8 million in June 2004, an increase of 2.9 percent, according to Mississippi State Tax Commission records. Revenues on the coast are up 4.1 percent so far this year, but down 8.5 percent for the Mississippi River counties.

For the calendar year 2005 thus far, Tax Commission records show revenues totaled $1.47 billion. For the first six months of 2004, revenues totaled $1.45 billion.
